Step-by-Step Guide: How to Use Scarban Silicone Finger

The Scarban silicone finger is meant to treat scars on your fingers caused by burns, surgery, injuries, or skin conditions. It usually takes about 3 to 6 months, or maybe longer, to see results. Always follow your doctor or therapist's advice when using this product.

Size Guide

The size of the Scarban silicone finger is chosen based on your finger's shape. The Scarban finger tape works for everyone. Here's how the sizes work:

  • Small (S) = 5.5 cm | 2.2 inches

  • Medium (M) = 6.5 cm | 2.5 inches

  • Large (L) = 7.5 cm | 3 inches

  • Extra Large (XL) = 8.5 cm | 3.3 inches

If you're in between sizes, it's best to go with the smaller size. This puts more pressure on the scar, which helps it heal better.

Step 1: Apply cream First

Apply some cream (like ALHYDRAN medical cream) on the finger you want to treat. This helps it slide smoothly into the silicone finger.

Step 2: Put on the silicone finger

Gently slide the Scarban silicone finger over the finger you're treating.

Step 3: Slide finger into the compression sock

Carefully pull the Scarban compression sock over the silicone finger, moving it back and forth. This helps give your scar extra treatment.

Step 4: Removing the silicone finger

To take off the Scarban Finger, start by removing the compression sock from the bottom to the top. Then, carefully take off the silicone finger.

Scarban Finger Tape

If the silicone finger doesn't fit right or you like using tape better, try Scarban Finger Tape (30 x 2,5 cm | 11,8 x 1 inch).

  • It's stretchy and treats scars around your finger.

  • Start at the tip of your finger and wrap towards your hand.

  • Make sure the pressure is even.

  • Pressure helps with scar treatment too.
